November 2008 Giveaway #1

The breath of fresh, hopeful air that blew across our country last night has put me in a good mood – a mood to give away something!

I thought this month would be a good one to give away this garden flag (measures 11″ x 15″).  You might recall seeing it on my blog a while back when I received the samples ~ it is currently available in Lowe’s.  I’ve got an extra and thought somebody out there might enjoy hanging it the week of Turkey Day.turkeyflagmini.jpg

Simply comment with the answer to the question below and you’ll be entered!  I’ll draw & announce a winner on Wednesday, November 12 and get it in the mail to you in plenty of time for Thanksgiving!

So here’s the question:

When you are stuck creatively, what do you do to get the ideas flowing again?

I will look for the flag at Lowes. I always love to see product in stores designed by friends!

    Hi BJ!!!

Lovely flag…I still have to post about the wonderful flag I won last time…
I will let all your other visitors have a chance at winning but love the question and here’s my answer…

When I am stuck creatively…I grab my camera and head outside…whether it is to a park, a forest, or anywhere and I look for the little things that we often miss in our hurried lives…I always find that taking my mind off things re-kindles a creative flame in me….and if that doesn’t work I bake cupcakes…and eat them….hehehehe

    Have a wonderful day!!!

    Hugs
    Diana

What a whimsy, fun flag-nice job!

Sometimes when I’m totally stuck for ideas, I like to try and see what kind of shapes I see in different objects (like a shadow that looks like a mouse or a kitchen tile that resembles a lantern). Often that just gets me thinking more creatively.

    Blessings!

When I’m stuck, I go for a run and during the last five minutes of it I speed through it. For some reason this allows me to know that I can push myself.

When I need to get creativity to flow I get out talk to people and go to a new place I have not been.It always works!
