Spring flowers & a give away! Yay!
This is what the back of our Murano looked like on Friday afternoon after I stopped at the nursery…
We got them all in the ground Sunday morning. I used my artistic eye to arrange the color pattern just so and can’t wait to see them start to fill in and create that beautiful riot of color in front of my house. I’ll post a pic once they’ve started to fill in and the mulch is down. I also have them dotted in pots all over the back yard. The little smacks of color here & there always make me happy.
The art studio make-over is coming along & keeping me busy ~ I will soon be sharing pics.
Now for that give away! Leanin’ Tree did these lovely Mother’s Day cards, adding glitter to the front, making them really cute.

Oh seeing those plants makes me long for gardening…I have to wait a while yet….but I can’t wait!!!
My favorite thing to do with my Mom….every summer we get together and have special dinners by the bon fire….we chat and chat for hours…just our special time together….I can’t wait for the first bon fire dinner….

My Mom passed away about 14 years ago. She always lived close by and was truly my best friend. I came across some photos of her on her ranch the year before she passed. We were all having fun riding her beautiful horses and playing with the new colt! P.S. You don’t need to enter me in your card drawing…I have plenty! Have a beautiful spring! Jane Trumble

I love my mom, she’s my bestfriend. The one thing we always do when I go home is go out vintage-shopping. It’s fun and we’re always excited for our finds! =)

I would tell you about my mom even without the card giveaway! My mom and I have two things we do, 1) we sneak away to the beach whenever we can. I live in Oregon where the coast is chilly and wet in the winter but that never stops us. We will stroll on the beach even when the wind is blowing and the rain is coming down. Our #2 is laughing over pranks. My mom is a prankster and plans April Fools a year out. We annually try to prank one another, or she plans a prank on my two boys. My mom is a hoot.

My Mom lives in Las Vegas and I live in FL–we both play games on a computer site that allows us to chat at the same time. She is also teaching my daughter how to crochet, and that brings back some wonderful memories, although WE didn’t get too far with the lessons!
And I am SO jealous of the sailing trip–always nice to read your posts and be inspired.
