Lowe’s Flags

What’s more fun that getting the deal?  What’s more fun than getting the samples?  What’s more fun than seeing your work in a store?  Seeing your work in the “real world”!

A few weeks ago, I was driving down the road not far from my neighborhood and spied one of my flags (the garden gate design) hanging in front of a house.  And last week, I also spotted the cute swim trunk garden flag as well in another yard.  Always gives me a thrill.

Now I am looking forward to seeing these fall flags somewhere in the “real world”…besides my own yard.  Get ‘em at Lowe’s ~ they’re on the shelves right now!

Wait ~ I’m not done just yet ~ I am going to give away a small garden flag (11 x 15) of the Autumn Wreath design above.  To qualify for the giveaway all you have to do is leave a comment answering this question:

What was your favorite Halloween costume that you recall as a child?  Did you make it or have a hand in making it?

I’ll draw a winner…one day soon…

Sad to say we (9 us) didn’t have holloween costomes. We couldn’t afford them and living in the country we didn’t get to go trick or treating much either. However, I made a lot of my girls costomes. One in particular was hobo outfits made out of random stuff we had in the house. I even found branches and tied a kerchief to them. They actually won the contest that year!!!

    Enjoy your blog.

I totally agree with you. The first time I saw my flag in someones yard I was thrilled. Love seeing my products in stores but I got goosebumps from knowing that they chose my flag from all the others in the store.

ps…big fan…love your work…and…I bet I checked your blog every hour when you had all that rain in the spring hoping everything was ok!

I think that is great seeing your art in someone yard…! Fun! OMI! an alka-seltzer tablet, that is hilarious! I did dress my son once as a giant Y2K bug, another year he was a skunk.

My favorite Halloween costume, as a child was … when my friend and I each got into a leg of my father’s bib overalls. We each wore denim shirts and straw hats. We had to dress in the Sunday school room and walk down to the social hall for the party! During our through the graveyard to the social hall, we fell over and couldn’t get back up… we just laughed our heads off, until someone came by and righted us! Needless to say, we won the most original costume category! Fond memories! CM2
