		<description>I am so with you about the excitement of fresh new school supplies,  I guess that&#039;s why I crave new art supplies this time of year!
Thanks for sharing these memories BJ...isn&#039;t it neat to think of these things and realize how they shaped the way we create now? I am blown away that you were already finding ways to push even crayons to their limit at an early age! Myself...from my very earliest memory I just drew constantly. Pencils, markers, crayons...whatever was closest (in their original, non-melted form though LOL). I didn&#039;t have that cool paper-mill connection (that&#039;s awesome! How cool was that?) but my mom brought home stacks and stacks of used memeograph paper from work (she worked at a school) there was never a shortage of 1-sided paper to draw on!
You&#039;ve made me want to find the box of drawings and crafts that my mom saved (it&#039;s here somewhere...) thanks for getting me thinking about this it makes me smile!</description>
