Road to Marrakech Giveaway!
I recently received samples of my latest fabric line, Road to Marrakech, from Studio E and am thrilled with how they turned out! I am looking forward to seeing what you talented folks do with these fun patterns. So let’s get the sewing party started ~ I am giving away two bundles of fat quarters (one each to two lucky winners) of the blue/green colorway. Just leave a comment telling me if you’re planning to make any of your holiday gifts and if so ~ what and for whom? I won’t tell ~ I promise! I am planning on making fabric garland for my mom. It will be an early Christmas gift so she can use it to decorate for her annual party a few days before Christmas. I would love your fat quarters, been looking for new fabrics for a new quilt. Thanks for a chance.

I made two Christmas themed quilted wall-hangings for my two friends. I might also be making some drawstring bags for some of the younger nieces and nephews. We’ll see if time allows for that one. The new fabric is absolutely lovely!

I’ve just finished two gift bags to put some quilting goodies into for a Christmas party swap and I’m working on a quilt for my nephew for Christmas and inbetween times I’m working on a wonderful purple, yellow and white quilt that might just be my 2009 present to myself. I still have a small wallhanging and more little gift bags to make before December 25th . . . gotta plan big! Love your new line and would love to play with it. - Marlene

I am sewing my little Love birdies for a few friends for Christmas - stuffed with lavender and love. Family will get some Etsy gifts as I try and keep this Christmas as handmade as possible.
Can’t believe we are talking about Christmas but I know it is coming….

Shhhh, don’t tell anyone, but we’re buying a new house which will close in early December. Its’ a foreclosure which I’ll have to paint from top to bottom, plus a long list of fixes. You might think I’m crazy, but I have this overwhelming urge to make Xmas gifts for myself and my family. Insane! I’m also trying to find inspiration fabric for decorating. I absolutely love this new line of yours, especially the blue green colorway. Gorgeous!!!

Your new fabrics are wonderful! And the pillow is too sweet. And yeah, of course I am making Xmas gifts. I have been buying up wool sweaters (from Goodwill). I am felting them and cutting into square and rectangles and sewing into long scarves. I am hoping to make a small blanket too. Not sure who will get all of them, probably nieces, my step daughter & my mom. And me of course :-)
